DIY Fashion: Grandma Dig (ThreadBanger video response)
Video Demo: Frugal Halloween Costumes | Ghoul Robe
Grandma Dig was inspired by a ThreadBanger Halloween how-to video and made this response video. In the video, she demonstrates how to make a Halloween ghoul robe from the black lining of old curtains.
Not a lot of instruction is provided, but we thought it offered a good starting point for how to make an inexpensive DIY Halloween robe. This idea can be easily modified to suit many other costume ideas. Buying and cutting up a few old sheets or curtains from a second-hand or charity store, instead of buying yards of new fabric, will save you a ton of money. The robe can be fitted for anyone, children or adults.
